This shot was just a fluke, a matter of being at the right place at the right time. I had spotted it while walking an acquaintance's Bassett Hound named Elvis. Every time I walked by the mailbox in which these flowers were growing up and around, I just thought it was the coolest shot with the coolest colors. So, after I took Elvis home, I went back and took the shot!
Robin M. Buehler is a photojournalist in southern New Jersey. She is a published writer, poet, and photographer.
