Deb BoothDeb writes:
By inverting colors, an artist has the possibility to bring light to what was once dark. Often, the results are startling and intriguing, and create a completely different impact on the viewer. The inside of a bloom can magically become a journey to another realm, inviting the viewer to come along and explore on their own.

Deb Booth is a photographer and author who lives in the awe-inspiring Blue Ridge Mountains. Her work has appeared in galleries in Glen Allen, Richmond, Staunton, and Waynesboro, Virginia. She says, "I use macro photography to help me see bits of brilliance that might otherwise be missed—hence the name of my studio. In the music business, singers will do their own versions of another musician's work, and it's called a 'cover'. The way I see it, I do covers of some of Nature's greatest hits." More of her work may be seen on her website, www.differentlightstudio.com, and she can be reached via email at: deb@differentlightstudio.com.
