Sarah FreerSarah writes:
"Miroir" brings out the idea of yin and yang, life and death, darkness and light, which can be found in all of my works. The past meeting the future. Sometimes all it takes is a hand to save you.

With no formal training, Sarah Freer spends her time experimenting with the natural everyday feelings caught in a glimpse—the snapshot of emotion; the sight of someone in that second of life. She likes to amplify the glance set in time with powerful colors and lighting. All of her self-portraits of are pure raw emotion—a therapy of sorts for herself; contemplation of life; self portraits with emotional layers left open for each viewer's interpretation. Balance cannot always be achieved in an ideal situation. Life leaves us to understand what we see on our own; misunderstanding, believing, and feeling. This is what she tries to portray—her life. She can be contacted through her website, www.sarahfreer.com, where more of work can be seen.
