"photon pairs are said to be in entangled quantum states."

They travel at light speed, for photons are light itself.
They correlate, even if a void a universe wide grows between them.
Spin one and the other will instantly spin the opposite way,
be they nanometers or light years apart.
Einstein called this “Spooky actions at a distance,”
and said it doesn’t exist.
But it does.
For other Einsteins put on their lab coats,
twisted light beams and took measurements.
Ask the Einsteins of today why
there’s a faster than light intercourse across ghostly gaps
and they will laugh.
Why—is a child’s question.
What, where, when, and even who are the proper catechisms of Quantum physics.
Why is beyond question, for the only answer is because.
Because, is what a pestered parent answers a child.
Recall your childhood. Remember your own parents’ voices.
“Why, why, why, enough of why—
because, because, because, now shut up already and go to bed.”
Why implies the Cosmos has motives.
Creation, that billions of years old maniacal creature
needs a dose of senility.
It needs a second childhood.
