David writes:
"Herne's Somnolence" is created with polymer, charcoal, and acrylic on paper. My paintings reflect a personal iconography of dreams, myths, and subconscious doodles. For me, each painting or work of art is as much about the process of creation—drawing from the Creative Source—as it is about the final image.
David J. Skora currently lives with his family in the northwest hills of Connecticut. When not working in his studio, he is a professor at Western Connecticut State University, where he teaches graphic design.
