"Fractal Man" is a digital fractal print I created in an application that assists the artist in designing numeric algorithm-based forms. Fractals provide a fascinating, graphic window on the underlying borderline between order and chaos. I was struck by the strong resemblance to a face in this design. To me it has a spooky and eerie appearance, particularly when looking into the "eyes," but it also can be seen as reflecting how man is composed of the stuff of the universe.
