Maheshwar writes:
I love watching jungles of trees, and have found that things do not move straight; there is a conflict, materials tend to cross each other; in this process, it had to quarrel, struggle. At first glance, it looks quite desperate and lets us think how mean our material world is! Right from there, another sense of meaning opens to me: that dualism is beautiful, as it strengthens and suggests that nothing linear or straight could exist—and this is a metaphysical meaning of matter! The physical world rests on it, and the spiritual world begins opening here.

Maheshwar N. Sinha lives happily in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, India, with his two little daughters, Anjali and Shruti, and his wife, Seema. He works as a government servant, and has written numerous short stories and a half-dozen novels, in both the Hindi and English languages. His first English book will be released by SBP/AEG-New York. Maheshwar's paintings have been shown in several art exhibitions, both solo and joint. He is very fond of playing cricket and football, going out in the morning, and returning for movies in the evening. He can be contacted via email at maheshwar.nsinha@rediffmail.com.
